Important Notice:
.doc file and .ppt file are very old file formats from Office 2003. It's bigger in size and easy to get attacked by hackers.
.docx file was introduced by Microsoft OFFICE in 2007 after .doc version.
Because there are less and less people using these old file formats and less support on it, it might become unstable when searching from .doc and .ppt.
If you have error on searching from .doc and .ppt, it might because the installed Microsoft office or WPS not in proper situation, you can try searching a few more times.
If it's not working, you can gather .doc or .ppt files together, and put them in a seperated file folder and search this folder alone.
